Come and experience three contrasting works by English composers; two choral, and one orchestral.
Dona Nobis Pacem is a deeply moving plea for peace, written in 1936 as war once again threatened the world. John Rutter’s Magnificat is a lively dance-like setting of The Song of Mary – My Soul Doth Magnify the Lord. Arnold Bax wrote his orchestral tone poem, Tintagel, to reflect the battering of the waves on the rocks below the famous Cornish castle – legendary home of King Arthur.
Our elegant Forum Restaurant offers guests a stylish art deco environment in which to enjoy a delicious meal before a show. We offer guests who dine in the Forum the option to return to their table to enjoy their pre-ordered interval drinks.
